Heart of Washington 1930s

The blocks in this collection were inspired by a 1937 friendship quilt. The original quilt was made in the town of Malaga, the “Heart” of Washington State. Pattern includes instructions for each one of twenty-six traditional blocks, quilt assembly instructions as well as background information to friendship quilts in the 1930s. Twenty-three pages and full color photos which can be read from the screen or printed on letter or A4 size paper.

This pattern would suit any quilter with a basic understanding of patchwork. The pattern is also flexible so your own ideas and blocks can be incorporated into the finished quilt.

Finished quilt measures 47 x 53 inches.
